Painting Love & Romance

This advanced London art class will start showing us what feelings of gratitude to a lover look like. We will explore through art what is it like to be a good lover? These qualities benefit from a little practice: an ability to listen properly to another person, patience, curiosity, resilience, sensuality and reason.

Art can teach us how to look with kinder and more alert eyes at the world about us.

Good things have banal ingredients. This painting will be a love lesson. It preaches a quality central to the realistic maintenance and growth of love. That good relationships depend upon patience. We have to forego an immediate satisfaction, such as winning an argument, making the other person feel guilty or getting our own way. These foregoing are the drops of water that, when multiplied and accumulated, will enable a couple to complete their pilgrimage.

We will explore art using history and philosophy.

The great thing about acrylic painting is that it likes detail, it is simple to use and dries quickly. You will learn about abstract painting techniques, glazing, colour mixing and painting light.

To cover the cost of securing the venue, we do not issue refunds through the website. Refunds will only be given by cash with proof of receipt, if you arrive on the day of the class.
